Joy Lovetta Harris, 90, longtime resident of Odessa passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 24, 1927 in Eastland, TX to Oliver & Dausie Hogan. She was a retired cook for the Ector County School District for 15 years. She was a member of First United Pentecostal Church for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert Walton Harris, grandson, Edward Shane Mosley & 2 brothers, Glenn & Gale Hogan. She is survived by her children, Elaine & Greg Smith, Patricia & Edward Mosley, Allen & Pam Harris, Randal Harris, all of Odessa, brothers, Marthon & Cora Hogan of Arlington, Dee & Jo Hogan of McKinney, (4) granddaughters, Toni & Michael Johnson & their 2 children, Ginger & Josh Martin & their 5 children, Angelique & Chris Howard & their 4 children, & Crystal Harris & (4) grandsons, Kevin Hughes, Jason & Minh Mosley & their 3 children, Jeremy & Lindsay Mosley & their 2 children, Andrew & Racheal Harris & their 3 children, & several nieces, nephews & cousins. A visitation will be held 6 - 8 pm Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Thursday, June 15, at the First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Terry Pugh & Rev. Allen Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Services entrusted to Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
