JAMES DOW NICHOLS
James Dow Nichols born September 12, 1920 in Cromwell, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Odessa. He spent 3 years in the Army Engineers Corp during WWII, he received the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with 2 Stars, Bronze Arrowhead, & Good Conduct Medal.
He was employed by Stanolind Oil & Gas, (British Petroleum) for 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Carrol & Anoree Nichols; brother, Richard Nichols; & daughter Alice Loraine Nichols. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Nichols, daughters, Jerry Ann Palmer of Odessa,...

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carrol & Anoree Nichols; brother, Richard Nichols; & daughter Alice Loraine Nichols. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Nichols, daughters, Jerry Ann Palmer of Odessa, Patty Arnold of Wewoka, OK; son, James Nichols & wife of Moore, OK; (8) grandchildren; (11) great-grandchildren; & (1) great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, March 30, 2015 at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Clydel Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Northside Baptist Church Building Fund.
